11月8－14日美国血库协会（AABB）主席杰奎琳•费雷德里克女士来上海参加了《第三期血站站长研修班》并给学员们授课。12月7日，杰奎琳给朱永明主任来信表示感谢。信的全文如下：

    Please accept my thanks for the kindness and hospitality you an your staff showed Arlyn + I. I would love to come again for your conference. I have told many people here about what you are trying to accomplish for your country and the first class blood center you have. I hope when you visit US you will someday visit our blood center which like yours has a very significant research and medical mission. I hope to see you in Baltimore in 2010 at AABB.
