Shanghai Blood Center (SBC) is located at 1191 Hong Qiao Road in Changning District, covering an area of 13320 square meters. SBC is a comprehensive medical and health institution mainly engaged in blood collection and supply, scientific research in transfusion medicine, education and training, blood products and transfusion appliance production. In 1988, World Health Organization designated SBC as a Collaborating Center for the Development and Research in the Services of Blood Transfusion.
